Reduce your tax liability while helping those in Yuma who need it most. Give to United Way's Community Care Fund (Helping the Working Poor) before the end of the year and take advantage of the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit Program. If you qualify, your tax liability will be reduced by the amount you donate, up to $400 for married couples and $200 for individuals! You can even take this credit in addition to the Public School Tax Credit and the Private School Tax Credit. It can be deducted on your Federal Tax Return as well.

* The Helping the Working Poor was established by the Arizona State Legislature to provide services such as medical care, child care, food, clothing, shelter and basic needs for employed families struggling to make ends meet. United Way of Yuma County is certified with the State of Arizona as a qualifying charitable organization and can receive charitabe contributions which qualify for the tax credit.
